This morning, the UCSI Hospital team conducted an extraordinary ward round as part of our Pink October Awareness and Health Promotion campaign. We distributed cupcakes and Pink October merchandise (thermo mugs) to all our hospitalised patients.We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah for joining us in this meaningful cupcake distribution.Together, we can make a big difference in raising awareness about breast cancer—early detection saves lives.

UCSI Hospital Port Dickson, together with INVEST NS, successfully hosted a meeting-Enstek Business Community, graced by prominent figures including Y. Bhg. Dato’ Peter Ng, Founder and Group Chairman of UCSI Group, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Haji Najmuddin bin Sharif, CEO of INVEST NS, and distinguished medical professionals from UCSI Hospital. The event brought together 15 representatives from Enstek Business Community and 22 officers from INVEST NS, fostering meaningful discussions on healthcare advancements and strategic partnerships in Negeri Sembilan.

Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, Tunku Ampuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud, Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa, UCSI Group advisor Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin, UCSI Group executive chairman Dato’ Peter Ng and UCSI Healthcare Group chairman Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah were among those present during the hospital launching ceremony.At the Hospital's opening ceremony, the Negeri ruler highlighted UCSI's role in boosting private healthcare in the state, particularly benefiting Port Dickson residents. Dr Zaliha, from the Ministry, praised UCSI's initiative in establishing a public wing, aligning with the Health White Paper objectives. She emphasised the significance of public-private collaboration to alleviate pressure on public hospitals, enhance healthcare accessibility and elevate health awareness across society.

UCSI Hospital is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Pink Challengers and the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) Malaysia. The partnership was formalised with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on November 8th. Through this partnership, Pink Challengers and BCWA will be the official support group for UCSI Hospital’s Cancer, Breast, and Endocrine Centre. As part of the partnership, Ezeebike Malaysia presented a handcrafted custom e-bike to Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abullah, Chairman of UCSI Healthcare Group. The partnership will also see the launch of the "UCSI Hospital and UCSI T&CM Centre - Pink Challengers - BCWA - EzeeBike 800km 2024 Challenge," a cancer awareness cycling event around Malaysia.

UCSI Hospital was privileged to receive a courtesy call on 8 November 2023 from the esteemed Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, represented by Mohanad A. Hashim (Director), Ghana Abdul Jabbar (Counsellor), and Maha Jassim Msawil (Second Secretary). Engaging discussions centred on mutual healthcare services and the prospect of collaborative training. Anticipating the future, we look forward to extending our hospitality to patients and students from Iraq. Currently underway is a working proposal aimed at formalising the intricacies of this auspicious collaboration.
