When I stepped into the role of Chairman of the UCSI Healthcare Group, I was driven by a vision to bridge the gap in our healthcare system. Mainly, I believe that high-quality medical treatment should not be a luxury. My team and I have worked tirelessly to bridge that gap, aiming to provide the B40 community with affordable options without compromising on quality.

And today, UCSI Hospital stands as Malaysia’s first and only private hospital with an integrated public wing, the Rakyat Wing. This is where our patients receive treatment from the same expert physicians and under the same clinical standards as our private services, but at a local cost, making advanced medical science accessible and sustainable for all.

And my commitment to Malaysia’s healthcare landscape extends beyond the clinic; we are also a centre for learning and expanding. With the launch of the Centre for Medical Education and Training (CMET) and our growing international research partnerships, we are shaping the next generation of medical professionals and advancing the frontiers of science.
