Traditional Malay Massage Therapist

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide traditional malay massage for neuromuscular condition and post natal massage
  • Discuss with other health care professionals such as Physiotherapist, Chiropractors, Physicians, and Psychologists in order to develop treatment plans for clients.
  • Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing.
  • Designs specific sessions based on individual needs.
  • Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
  • Creates excellent client experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Communicates various promotions to clients.
  • Adhere to centre’s policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with the Personal Data Protection Act.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the traditional malay and post natal massage.
  • Knowledge in lactation massage service is an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service skills.
