NEGERI SEMBILAN: UCSI Hospital marked its fourth anniversary today with the proclamation of Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz as its patron.The event also saw the launch of the Centre of Education and Medical Training, the latest addition to UCSI Hospital.In his speech, Tunku Zain expressed his honour in being appointed as patron.“This appointment is a great responsibility and I pledge to carry out my duties with utmost dedication, commitment and accountability.”“I hope we can continue working together to enhance the quality of healthcare services and ensure that every patient who comes to this hospital feels valued and cared for with compassion.”Tunku Zain, who also serves as UCSI University pro-chancellor, commended UCSI Hospital’s progress since its inception in 2021, particularly the Rakyat Wing programme, an initiative that provides affordable medical care for Malaysians in the B40 and M40 income groups, as well as uninsured foreign workers.“Through Yayasan Munarah, where I serve as president and patron, we are ready to collaborate with UCSI Hospital through the Rakyat Wing programme to support those in need.”“I am pleased to announce that UCSI Hospital and Yayasan Munarah will sponsor two patients to undergo coronary artery bypass graft heart surgery free of charge. Yayasan Munarah will identify patients who meet the criteria for this treatment.”He also urged government leaders and policymakers to recognise the opportunities offered by the Rakyat Wing programme and take proactive steps to ease the burden on public hospitals.“This is not about competition but collaboration for the benefit of the people. Established in 2021, UCSI Hospital is part of the UCSI Health Metropolis, a mega project aimed at transforming Springhill into a premier medical tourism hub.
PORT DICKSON, 15 November 2023 - Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir said that UCSI Hospital has great potential to change the state’s healthcare landscape.In a speech delivered at the Hospital’s opening ceremony, the Negeri ruler said that UCSI’s presence would enhance the state’s private healthcare options.“With quality healthcare offerings and experienced specialists, the people of Negeri Sembilan, particularly Port Dickson residents, have another avenue for healthcare treatment and services,” he said.“The Hospital is part of the UCSI Health Metropolis - a mega project that seeks to turn Springhill into a hub of health and edu tourism.“This makes UCSI Group one of the biggest investors in Negeri Sembilan and I would like to thank them for their trust and confidence in the state.”UCSI is also running an international school and a private school in Springhill. PORT DICKSON, 4 October 2023 - Former Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah clocked in officially at UCSI Hospital today and detailed plans to make UCSI one of Malaysia’s top private hospitals.Meeting the Hospital staff for the first time as UCSI Healthcare Group chairman, Dr Noor Hisham said that UCSI had great potential and he was excited by a new challenge.“Joining an established healthcare group is easy but my contributions at UCSI Hospital would be far more impactful,” he said during his welcoming ceremony.UCSI has firm foundations and the conditions are in place for us to make a huge difference in healthcare.“We will work to establish UCSI as a preferred brand in healthcare that offers world-class clinical service delivery. PORT DICKSON, 11 June 2023 – Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa launched UCSI Hospital’s Adopt-a-Dialysis-Chair Project and its haemodialysis centre.Dr Zaliha, Malaysia’s first female Health Minister, said that UCSI’s initiative was encouraging as it would ease the burden of underprivileged dialysis patients.More than 10 sponsors have made their pledges so far, giving 13 dialysis patients a much needed lifeline.“The Ministry gladly welcomes this initiative as the public healthcare system can accommodate approximately 30% of dialysis patients in Malaysia,” she said after launching the centre.“We need private hospitals like UCSI to step up. The start of this project is something we should be proud of and I’m sure it will continue to flourish.“Such effort helps the Ministry reduce the burden of dialysis patients. I hope that this initiative will get support from the public.”UCSI’s Adopt-a-Dialysis-Chair Project connects patients with individuals, corporations, foundations and NGOs that will sponsor their treatment needs.Sustainability underpins UCSI’s initiative. While each sponsor commits to at least three months of treatment, they may opt for flexible plans that will see them making financial commitments on alternate months or other intervals.Dr Zaliha was also given a tour of UCSI’s state-of-the-art haemodialysis centre that functions as a lifeline for dialysis patients in Bandar Springhill, Lukut and Port Dickson.UCSI Group founder and executive chairman Dato’ Peter Ng said that the sponsorship initiative was the Hospital’s way of giving back to society.“We want to give a new lease of life to dialysis patients, particularly those in the B40 group,” he said in his speech.“UCSI wants to contribute more to Malaysia’s healthcare landscape and we are keen to explore more public-private partnerships. PORT DICKSON, 7 July 2021 – His Highness Tunku Zain Al-Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz met the people of Negeri Sembilan at UCSI Hospital’s vaccination centre and was briefed of the process of the vaccination situation at the hospital by the management.The visit to UCSI Hospital’s vaccination centre in Port Dickson gave an opportunity for His Highness to understand the flow at the vaccination centre and the steps the hospital has taken to mitigate the overall process, from pre-vaccination to post-vaccination.His Highness also visited the facilities and equipment at UCSI Hospital and UCSI University Springhill (Port Dickson Campus), which is adjacent to the hospital.Tunku Zain was briefed by UCSI Group CEO and Founder Dato Peter Ng. PORT DICKSON, 27 May 2021 – UCSI Hospital is open for service at Bandar Springhill, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan starting March 2021. The hospital aims to serve the people of Negeri Sembilan with the latest equipment in modern medicine and experienced medical specialists.Built on 14.3 hectares of land, UCSI Hospital was launched in March as a 130-bed facility and will grow organically to become a 1,000-bed established private hospital.Located near the popular tourist destination, Port Dickson, UCSI Hospital will be contributing to the medical tourism sector. PORT DICKSON, 25 March 2021 - UCSI Hospital open its doors for business. Six days later, on April 1, UCSI Hospital welcomed the hospital's first newborn baby, the birth of a new life like the sunrise, but also make this new hospital more vibrant!UCSI Hospital gynaecologist Dr Victor Chin shared his delight over the news."This is a special moment for the hospital and me. It is an honour for us to be able to serve the community within a few days of our opening." He said.Having served in various hospitals in Australia and Malaysia since 2013, Dr Victor Chin brought his wealth of experience to UCSI Hospital's Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit.On the delivery of the baby at UCSI Hospital, he shared that the mother had decided to deliver at the hospital because her blood pressure was high, and her amniotic fluid was low."The baby was due over five days ago, which is a worrying situation. As such, I decided that the baby needs to delivered immediately." He added.Naturally, the lady and her family were concerned about the hospital's staff and equipment since it started operating just a few days ago. However, she heeded Dr Victor Chin's advice and admitted herself to the maternity ward."Both the mother and I hoped for a natural delivery. Yet, as a gynaecologist, I need to be wary of the circumstances that may change. And due to some complication, I decided to perform a caesarean delivery to ensure the safety of both mother and child." He concurred."On that day, the 13 of us, comprising nine nurses and four doctors, were delighted to welcome UCSI Hospital's first baby. I want to thank the team for assisting me with the operation, especially our anaesthetist Dr Sham Kumar and our paediatrician Dr Long Wai Lup. The baby was born at 1:47 am, and Dr Long was on standby at the hospital to perform the follow-up examination and cleaning for the baby in time to ensure that the baby received the best care." He concluded.

  • Provide traditional malay massage for neuromuscular condition and post natal massage
  • Discuss with other health care professionals such as Physiotherapist, Chiropractors, Physicians, and Psychologists in order to develop treatment plans for clients.
  • Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing.
  • Designs specific sessions based on individual needs.
  • Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
  • Creates excellent client experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Communicates various promotions to clients.
  • Adhere to centre’s policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
